Program Notes

Phoenix Recovery Programs provides counseling, education, structure, accountability and guidance to young men and women grades 8-12 and a strong family program to help rebuild healthy family relationships. Utilizing a combination of CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, anger management, and 12-Step approaches, we help in healing the family system, restoring healthy relationships, and positive community engagement. Phoenix is a progress-based and incentive-driven program offering residential programming for adolescent boys, and outpatient with lodging program for adolescent boys and girls, including transitional services, in an integrated setting. Progress is based on participation, the ability to demonstrate through insight, attitudes, and behaviors that they can apply what they have learned. Additional services include medication management when needed and clinically appropriate, psychological testing as needed, individual and group mental health therapy, individual and group substance use counseling, individual family therapy, and group family therapy. With an emphasis on application, mindfulness, empathy, and self-accountability/awareness, clients are encouraged to find intrinsic motivation to sustain changes, begin the healing process, and build positive self-esteem.
